LSAcademia can be deployed as a Service on the cloud or as an on-premise license.
On Premise Solution: LSAcademia is deployed as an ‘on premise’ solution on the institution’s server and is accessed by users through Web browser in Intranet/ Internet environment.
SaaS Subscription Model: LSAcademia is provided as a cloud based solution on LIBSYS servers. The user does not need any server or RDBMS on its premises. LSAcademia can be accessed over Internet from any popular Web browser
As a part of the installation, if any data is available in electronic form, related to current/active Students and Staff, the same is migrated to LSAcademia database.
Comprehensive training on using the LSAcademia system is provided to the users. The training is conducted in modular and phased manner for better comprehension by the users. As a part of training, participants are given hands on practice on the system, this ensures that the staff develops competency to use LSAcademia comfortably.
LSAcademia comes with quality support and services to customers for its effective and continuous use. To meet the varying needs of the customers LSAcademia comes with three levels of services namely Platinum,Gold and Silver. Through the Customer Care Web portal ‘LSCC’ the site can log their queries/issues online and get prompt support. Call status can be tracked online. There is dedicated Operations Group comprising of support engineer/s, second level team of schedulers and operations head to address critical issues.
Based on internal R&D efforts and feedback from users of LSAcademia, the software updates are released. These updates include new features, additional functionality, bug fix, performance enhancements etc.
