Institutes can define their own criterion at various stages of the shortlisting of applicants for different programs including opting for a particular payment gateway.
LSAcademia lets institutes structure the curriculum setup in accordance to the various Programs / Subject Streams offered, thereby providing capability to handle complex curriculums with ease. This module can be deployed for semester system, trimester system, or any other term system.
This module accepts student data from Admission and facilitates the maintenance of a comprehensive profile of each student. The module can generate Student ID cards as required. These cards can be barcode or RFID based.
An optimum utilisation of teaching resources and rooms can be achieved by generating a timetable using a comprehensive algorithm via this module. This timetable can be modified manually, and faculty/teacher substitution can be exercised as required.
Student attendance can be marked by the teacher on a smartphone / tablet. Attendance records can be updated daily or cumulatively on a weekly or monthly basis. Cases of irregular attendance can be tracked with ease.
This innovative module helps monitor syllabus progress and takes teaching to a new level with online assignments and study material submission. Students can access and interact with these seamlessly via the Communication Portal.
LSAcademia can handle different evaluation processes adopted by various education boards and universities. This module provides flexibility in defining evaluation structure in terms of tests, assignments, tutorials, practical, projects and examinations of different Programs / Subject Streams. The faculty can maintain performance of students continuously using interactive screens or smartphones/tablets, and results can be published online on the Communication Portal or e-mailed as and when desired.
This salient capability of LSAcademia helps institutes create a vibrant and dynamic environment in their campuses. The Students’ Focused Portal provides networking features such as Forums, Blogs, Wikis, Message Boxes, Virtual Groups, etc., which initiates a seamless interaction between students and faculty members through a mobile campus. The inclusion of Bulletins, Alerts and RSS feeds generated by different functional modules of LSAcademia enhances its potential. All student data such as Student Profile, Timetable, Homework and Assignments, Examination Results, etc. can also be accessed via the Students’ Portal. There are separate Portals for the Faculty and the Director/Principal.
The Fee Module automates the fee generation and collection from students with the facility of online payment through any preferred payment gateway. An institute can define its fee-structure and concession schemes as applicable. The module automatically picks up fee components towards academics, transport use, hostel, library dues, etc. to form fee requisitions.
Various events that take place inside the institute campus are effectively organized using this module. The events, committees, resource allocation, event scheduling, etc. are some of the key features of this module. The information on scheduled events gets reflected in the academic calendar on the Students Portal.
LSA adequately addresses the management of boarding Institutions through this module. A hostel map defining inventory of rooms so created in the module can be used for allocation of rooms to students with various predefined criteria or manually. There is provision for recording attendance of hostel occupants for the regular schedule as well as non-routine situations.
This module helps in managing medical facilities on the campus and monitoring health related incidents. Appointment schedules, prescription details, medicine allotment and medical reimbursements are handled smoothly.
This module keeps the alumni of the institute consistently in touch with the happenings around the campus. An authenticated database of alumni can be built through an auto-registration process. Registered Alumni can access the Alumni Portal, where they will get the latest information on campus activities and news, and other Alumni events. Effective communication is kept through messaging, newsletters, alerts and chat sessions.
Placement activities of the institute get a boost by deploying this highly interactive module. An integrated databank of companies can be generated and campus visits scheduled. Students can upload their CVs and can enroll for campus drives from the Student Portal. A ‘Track Placement’ interface provides for effective monitoring.
This module of LSAcademia meets all the requirements of a standard financial system including fund accounting, budgeting, financial statements, etc. It is implicitly integrated with other modules like Fee, Assets, Procurement, etc. The module provides rapid voucher entry and effortless period-end closing. Optionally, integration can be done with any preferred 3rd party FA system.
The HRMS module adequately meets all the needs of the HR department such as recruitment, performance monitoring, training, succession planning and exit management. The payroll and disbursement functions in HRMS take into account a wide range of variables such as attendance, travels, staff benefits, insurances, loans, conveyance, concessions, etc.
The automation of routine operations and maintenance of vehicles in the institute fleet is handled comprehensively. For monitoring fleet status, analytical reports give information on fuel consumption and servicing pattern of vehicles. Abnormal incidents related to vehicle / drivers / attendants can also be recorded.
This module handles the intricacies of asset acquisition, categorization, allocation, depreciation and decommissioning. The depreciation parameters can be defined as per need. Provision is available to track loaned items or items in repair.
LSA covers the entire procurement cycle, including purchase requisition, approval, ordering and invoicing. Tendering process can be managed effectively, saving time and resources. Workflow to handle inspection and return of goods is handled distinctly.
